Inside MSU is an optional -- yet highly recommended -- half-day, on-campus program for admitted freshmen.
The program begins with a presentation from staff and current students tailored to address the questions of admitted students and their families. Following the presentation, participants walk to a number of facilities on campus including a residence hall where lunch is provided and members of Housing and Food Services discuss the programs and services available. After lunch, participants are free to explore campus on their own. The program also includes information on career services and placement and study abroad opportunities. A representative from the Office of Financial Aid is also available for consultation during lunch.
Sessions are offered most weekdays from January-April. Reservations are required and space fills on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop-in attendance is strongly discouraged since there is limited capacity.
